The Silver Gypsies are Chris and Stacey, travelers who enjoy visiting new places, enjoying good music, and sharing our experiences. 
Chris is the Silver Haired Gypsy, who grew up an Army BRAT following his father from duty station to duty station throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. Having attended 10 different schools through 12 grades, Chris’ love of traveling started at an early age. Experiencing places firsthand that he had only read about in books and discovering places not in the history books has led Chris to blaze a trail to some of the off-the-beaten-track locations. To date, he has been to over 70 countries on 5 continents and has no intention of slowing down.
Stacey shares a love of travel and discovery. While not having moved as extensively as Chris, she has traveled and vacationed all through her life. Stacey is a semi-retired glass artist who has shown her work in countless art shows and has been sold in boutiques across the country.
We share a love of international cultures and a curiosity to seek out new experiences. That said, many of our trips take us to music festivals. We are Deadheads, Parrotheads, and lovers of good music from many genres. So in addition to journal entries for places, we will write about some of the music events we go to. For us, nothing is better than spending the night listening to great live music and having the day free to explore a new city.  
Our journals will give you some insight into the places we visit, with recommendations of activities we have done, places we have gone to, restaurants we have eaten at, and music we have seen. As retired seniors exploring the world, we find new and fascinating things wherever we go. Come along with us.
